Pharma-Cos Limited, a family owned private exempt Malta registered company was founded in 1974 by our late Managing Director Marcel Charles Mifsud who had considerable personal experience in similar and related business operations before.
 
Highlights from our History
  • We introduced Pacemakers to Malta.
  • In 1990, Pharma-Cos fostered Nycomed Imaging Non-ionic contrast media
  • Our market share of the importation of operating tables was for many years almost 100%
  • 1993 saw Pharma-Cos receiving an award from Nihon Kohden (Europe) Limited following the complete refurbishment of the patient monitoring system at St. Luke's Hospital.
  • In 1994 Pharma-Cos pioneered the importation and stocking of heart valves.
  • 1995 saw Pharma-Cos turnover surpassing the Lm1 million (US$ 2.75m) mark.
  • In two private hospitals Pharma-Cos installed all Central Sterilisation equipment.
  • In 1996 Pharma-Cos House in Santa Venera enhanced the office and storage capabilities in an upmarket and central situation.
  • In 1997 Pharma-Cos Limited complied with the requirements of the Company Act and was registered as C2804 with the Malta Financial Services Corporation with an authorised share capital of 40,000 Ordinary Shares of Lm1 each.
